Marou proudly launched this community campaign with a simple yet powerful dream: to transform every chocolate bar into a gift of knowledge for the children of Đắk Lắk’s ethnic minority communities.
With every Doing Good Tasting Good bar you choose, a book finds its way to a children’s library, opening new doors of discovery and learning.
We believe this effort goes beyond improving access to education. It sparks curiosity, fuels young dreams, and brings joy to childhood, one page at a time.

This May, Maison Marou invites you to join hands in spreading goodness to the communities of Đắk Lắk.
Our Bars-to-Books campaign officially runs from April 29th to May 31st, alongside Marou’s ongoing Doing Good & Tasting Good journey. For every DGTG Special Bar you choose, a meaningful book will be donated directly to children in Vietnam’s remote highlands.
These precious gifts of knowledge will travel with Marou later this year, during our annual trip to Đắk Lắk to deliver cacao seedlings to local farmers — planned for August or September.
