About the position

Marou is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer who is creating and maintaining the BI systems within the organisation. This role is crucial in translating business requirements/needs into insightful and self-explanatory dashboards. This position requires to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and convert them into dashboards, reports and visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining BI Systems: Designing, developing, and maintaining BI systems including data warehouses and database integration
• Creating visualizations: Developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data that is self-explanatory and insightful
• Working with stakeholders: Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into business solutions
• Managing Databases: Managing database performance, security and integrity
• Deploying AI: Deploying AI interfaces to facilitate automated information analysis

Qualifications / Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering or business
• Min. 5 years working experience of which min. 2 years as BI Developer
• Hands-on experience and expertise with PowerBI are required
• Successful track record in maintaining/improving Data Warehouse, BI Dashboard Lifecycle Management (from User request/story to successful deployment with proper QC)
• Translating business challenges/requests into insightful visualizations (storytelling with data)
• Expertise in customer user interface to generate self-explanatory and insightful dashboards
• Experience in process automation and optimization
• Fluent in English (both spoken & written)
